Night Walk - 15th December
Gary Parker our leader for our trip decided we needed to do a night walk to get used to walking in the dark and therefore chose a night with no moon in particular - Our walk was us the Skirrid in Abergavenny and true to form it was an experience and one we need to do! We all had our head torches on and up we went - it was dark, very dark and extemely foggy so we really couldn't see a thing. We went slowly one behind another - we couldn't see a thing only our feet!!! We had a few fall/slips and eventually reached the top whereby Gary said it was a fabulous view normally and such a shame we couldn't see a thing! So we came back down again very very slowly - it was extremely slippery and again there were a few spectacular falls!!! When we got the the bottom we all were relieved and went to have a well deserve drink at the Skirrid Arms - Spooky!!!!!
